In 2013 POLIMERPROM LLC started manufacture of couplings for casing and lifting pipes which are produced under GOST 632–80, GOST 633–80, GOST R 53366-2009 and Technical Conditions TU 14-ЗR-29-2007.
For the coupling production we have put into service a line based on OKUMA coupling sleeve machine, Japan, which allows cutting couplings of 73−245 mm diameter with all types of threads. The couplings have protective zinc coating applied with the help of thermodiffusion process. The coating ensures a more reliable protection against corrosion. The test performed on couplings 168 BUTRESS with a thermodiffusion zinc coating ensured four-time connections without any damages to the tread geometry and integrity of the thermodiffusion zinc coating.
